This ceremony celebrates doctoral candidates in 13 of our colleges whose semester ends with the traditional spring calendar.
The University Doctoral Ceremony individually recognizes doctoral candidates from all colleges except Dentistry and Law.
All participants are individually recognized on stage. Doctoral candidates will be hooded by President Kent Fuchs and Chief Marshal and Professor Hans van Oostrom.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION was available between April 2 and April 12. Graduates who confirmed their registration by that date are guaranteed 2 pair (4 total) guest tickets.
- Make-Up Doctoral Commencement Ceremony
- Date: Thursday, May 6 at 9am.
- Location: Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
- Graduate Assembly: Gate 4. Masks are to be worn along with regalia. Carry your hood.
- Guest Admission: Gate 1. Masks are to be worn, have tickets ready for electronic scanning.
- Escort Admission: Gate 4 with escort pass.
- Tickets: All guests, regardless of age, require a ticket. Each graduate who confirms their registration between April 2 and April 12 is guaranteed 2 pairs of tickets (4 tickets total).
- Regalia: Required.
