Due to COVID-19, faculty mentors and dissertation chairs will not escort across, nor hood, their graduates on stage. However, they are invited to attend in a special escort seating section of the arena where they can watch their graduates cross the stage. Sections 121, 123 and 223 will be reserved for faculty escorts who wish to attend to applaud for their graduate. Regalia is encouraged but not required. Tickets are not required, but you must acquire an escort Gate 4 pass from the Director of Commencements, simply email her at stephmcbride@aa.ufl.edu and state your intentions to come as a UF Faculty escort. Further instructions will be provided at that time. Gates open at 8am.
