There are enough spots in the O’Connell Center lot and garage (#7) for the doctoral ceremony. Parking restrictions are lifted in these areas beginning at noon on Friday, August 11. See the O'Connell Parking & Entry map for the location of garage, lots and entry gates.

For the two bachelor's, master's and specialist's ceremonies guests and grads will need to park in nearby lots and garages, or use the shuttle service. Parking restrictions are lifted on campus in all lots and garages beginning at 5pm on August 11 and remain open through the weekend.

This is the Summer '23 Shuttle Map. 
We will have 2 shuttles (school buses from Alachua County) and 1 Campus Connector (ADA Accessible bus) run the following times:
- Friday, August 11 from 5pm-9:30pm
- Saturday, August 12 from 8am-12:30pm

Ceremony time: Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2pm, processional at 1:40pm.

This is the Summer '23 Doc Seating chart.

Colleges are alphabetical, individuals are not. If a college has multiple degree programs, PhD's are seated first, then their other degree program is seated. The exception to this is the College of Education, PhD's and EdD's are not separated.

Agricultural and Life Sciences: PhD, then DPM
Nursing: PhD, then DNP
Warrington College of Business: PhD, then DBA

Each college will seat their master's and specialist's degree candidates first, then their bachelor's degree candidates. Within those groups, candidates are able to sit next to whomever they'd like; we do not seat them in order by major, last name or other category.

Participating colleges: Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS); Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS); Warrington College of Business (WCB)

Ceremony time: Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10am, processional at 9:30am.

Each college will seat their master's degree candidates first, followed by their bachelor's candidates. Within those categories, candidates can sit next to whomever they'd like; we do not seat candidates by major, last name, or other category.
