All graduates and their guests should attend two ceremonies: the University Wide Commencement Ceremony and their Recognition Ceremony. Bachelor's, master’s and specialist’s degrees will be conferred at the University Wide Commencement on Friday evening in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
The University Wide Commencement celebrates graduates from all colleges except the Levin College of Law and the College of Dentistry, whose commencements are held later in the spring.
The university president will preside over this ceremony and bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist’s degrees will be conferred by a member of the UF Board of Trustees. This is the ceremony where undergraduates' tassels are turned. The UF Alumni Association will welcome the class of 2025 as alumni for the first time.
Our invited celebrity speaker, TBA, will deliver the commencement address at this ceremony.
