Cap & Gown Ordering

Spring graduates who still wish to order regalia can do so by emailing cap-gown@ufl.edu with the following information:

  • Name
  • UFID
  • College
  • Degree Level (if bachelor's- BA or BS)

Doctoral degree candidates rent a tam, gown and hood, with an option to purchase the hood as a keepsake. They will be shipped to the address you provide in the regalia order system. The regalia will be received by August 1. Rented regalia must be returned with a postmark no later than August 24.

Master's and Specialist's degree candidates purchase a cap, gown and hood. They will be shipped to the address you provide in the regalia order system. The regalia will be received no later than August 1.

Bachelor's degree candidates purchase a cap and gown. They will be shipped to the address you provide in the regalia order system. The regalia will be received no later than August 1.

If you ordered regalia in the spring semester, you should have received it by the first week of June. If you sought a refund, you should have received it by the first week of June. Please contact cap-gown@ufl.edu if you are still waiting on one of these.

If you have unopened regalia you now wish to return for a refund, contact cap-gown@ufl.edu for details on this process.
