While family members and friends celebrate their soon-to-be Gator Grads from the stands, our candidates will be seated on the field of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

This Spring 22 UW Grad Seating map will help you identify where your student will be seated. Please note, candidates are seated per college with doctoral candidates in the front, master's and specialist's candidates in the middle, and bachelor's candidates in the back. Within those groupings we do not seat the students by last name or department. This allows them to sit with their friends during the ceremony.

Candidates line up for the University Wide Commencement Ceremony in the Reitz Union Lawn at 6pm. Each college has a section of space roped off in a specific color (CLAS is blue, ART is yellow, EDU is green, etc.). The spaces will be labeled with a sign and a college banner.

Check in at your space, get a colored wrist band that will match the color of the rope and meet with your college peers to prepare for your processional. Doctoral candidates, stay toward the front of your space. Master's and Specialist's candidates, move toward the middle. Bachelor's candidates, head toward the back. There will be faculty marshals with signs to help you find your area within your space.

Here you will find a Spring 22 UW Candidate LineUp map to help you see where you'll go on the Reitz Union Lawn and precisely how the color coding will work.

NOTE: You're lining up outside in grass and walking across the street and down a steep hill into the football field. Consider your footwear thoughtfully. Flats are recommended. Bags must be clear and 12"x6"x12" or smaller!!!

FAMILY AND FRIENDS: Doors to the stadium open at 5:30pm. Go there to find the best seats while your candidate gets lined up and ready for the processional. Bags must be clear and 12"X6"x12" or smaller!!!

This Spring 22 Stadium Map shows entry points, seating areas available to guests, restrooms, ADA accessible seating, first aid stations, and other pertinent ceremony layout details.

The doctoral candidates are seated in the colleges' alphabetical order. Colleges with multiple degrees will process with their PhD candidates first, followed by their college-specific doctoral degree candidates.
EXAMPLES: The College of Public Health and Health Professions will process in as follows: PhD, AuD, DPT, OTD; the College of Nursing will process in as follows: PhD, DNP.

Within each college candidates are not seated in alphabetical order or by department. Candidates walk in with, and sit next to, their faculty hooder(s) who escort them on stage to place the doctoral hood over their head as they are called "doctor" for the first time.

This Spring 22 Doc Grad Seating depicts the order and approximate location of where each college will be on the arena floor for this ceremony.
