A huge thank you to the faculty and staff working during graduation weekend, our ceremonies would not be successful without your dedication and commitment!

Please know that UF's in-person Spring 2021 graduation weekend ceremonies will occur only if the threat of COVID-19 is overcome through the widespread administration of a vaccine. If that does not happen, we will postpone them.

Faculty and staff working at their respective college ceremony should check in with their college's ceremony coordinator for instructions and information concerning those assignments.

MARSHALS WORKING AT THE DOCTORAL CEREMONY

The Doctoral Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 29 at 7pm in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

Faculty working at the Doctoral Commencement Ceremony should arrive at Gate 4 at 5pm.

Proceed to the basement level in the Performer's Dressing Room where they will receive a marshal gown to wear over their business casual clothing. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as these roles require periods of standing and walking.

An outline of your assigned marshal role will be sent approximately one month prior to the ceremony. A training will be held prior to the ceremony to ensure you understand your marshal assignment.

The ceremony will run from approximately 7pm-9pm, with the processional beginning at 6:30pm. You will be needed through the duration of the ceremony. Afterwards, you will return your marshal robe to the Performer's Dressing Room.

Total time commitment: 5pm-9:15pm

STAFF WORKING AT THE DOCTORAL CEREMONY

The University Doctoral Commencement ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 29 at 7pm in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

Staff working at the check-in station should arrive at Gate 4 at 5pm and remain there. Business casual clothing is appropriate, "Gator Gear" is recommended but not required. A name tag will be provided. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as these roles require periods of standing.

An outline of the roles at the check-in station will be sent approximately one month prior to the ceremony. A training will be held upon your arrival for the ceremony.

The ceremony will run approximately 7pm-9pm, with the processional starting at 6:30pm. You will only be needed through the first 30 minutes (aproximately) of the ceremony.

Total time commitment: 5pm-7:30pm

EMPLOYEE PARKING FOR THE DOCTORAL

Employee parking for the ceremonies will be the north end zone lot of the stadium

  • Faculty marshals will receive their parking passes at the training prior to commencement.
  • Gate 4 check-in staff will receive parking passes from the college ceremony contact; they’ll be sent via inter-office mail at least two weeks before the ceremony.
MARSHALS WORKING AT THE UNIVERSITY WIDE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

The University Wide Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 30 at 7pm in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Faculty working at this ceremony should arrive at the Reitz Union Room 2315 at 5:30pm.

Faculty serving as marshals will receive a marshal gown to wear over your business casual clothing appropriate for the outdoor weather. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as these roles require periods of standing and walking.

An outline of your assigned marshal role will be sent approximately one month prior to the commencement ceremony. A training will be held on prior to the ceremony to ensure you understand your Marshal assignment.

The ceremony will run from approximately 7pm-9pm. You will be needed through the duration of the ceremony. Afterwards, you will return your marshal robe to Reitz Union Room 2315.

Total time commitment: 5:30pm-9:15pm (approximately)

STAFF WORKING AT THE UNIVERSITY WIDE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

The University Wide Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 30 at 7pm in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Staff working at this ceremony should arrive at the Reitz Union Room 2315 at 5pm.

Staff working in the student line-up area as commencement service representatives greeting guests will be provided with a name tag and an orange vest. Business casual clothing is appropriate, “Gator Gear” is recommended but not required. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as these roles require periods of standing.

An outline of your assigned role will be sent approximately one month prior to the commencement ceremony. A training will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 11:30am to ensure you understand your staff assignment.

The ceremony will run from approximately 7pm-9pm, but you will only be needed through the first 45 minutes of the ceremony. Afterwards, you will return your name tag and vest to Reitz Union Room 2315.

Total time commitment: 5pm-7:45pm (approximately)

EMPLOYEE PARKING FOR THE UNIVERSITY WIDE CEREMONY

Employee parking for the university wide ceremony will be at North End Zone parking lot of the stadium. Employees will receive their parking passes at the commencement trainings.
