Graduates in Need of Accommodations

If you are a graduate with a special request, please contact the Disability Resource Center so we can appropriately serve you.

Guests in Need of Accommodations

There are arrangements in place to accommodate our campus visitors during graduation weekend.

Venue Accommodations- Stephen C. O'Connell Center

There is seating for people who are in wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. Upon entering the facility, ask an usher to direct you to those areas. Due to limited space, we ask that only one family member sit with an individual; the rest of your party can sit in nearby spaces. Limited mobility seating areas are first come, first served and cannot be reserved. Wheelchairs are available to assist people to seating areas, but not to use for the duration of the ceremony.

Parking Accommodations- Stephen C. O'Connell Center

The parking spots closest to the O’Connell Center are reserved for disabled parking (must have proper license plate and/or window tag). These spots are first come, first served and cannot be reserved.

Shuttle Accommodations

Shuttles will be scheduled on the days with multiple ceremonies and it appears that parking may be challenging. A schedule regarding shuttle services will be made available once ceremony schedules are finalized.

When shuttles are provided, shuttles always include Campus Connector services, which are ADA compliant buses that can assist those with mobility issues and may have walkers or wheelchairs.

A map with the full route and shuttle stops will appear on the Parking & Shuttles page in July.
